Bad News

My dog, Bennie, had a stroke a few weeks ago, and today was the day that he was put down.

I've had him since I was three, and I can't really remember a time without him. He was always spoiled rotten, even more than me sometimes. Bennie was my baby brother.

And I don't know how to handle it...

I love him to death... and now he's gone.

Anyway, please understand that it will take a while for me to get my stories back in order.

Anyway, just saw a guy who I swear could be a twin of how Rob Lowe looked like when he was younger. Only taller and... hotter.
But anyway.

Who here has actually tried to write a book?
I wrote one, and it was easy then. I finished it at no time, but I decided to rewrite it before sending off to possible publishers. And it's so hard this time around!
I worry that the characters aren't right, that I need more action, more drama, more suspense. But I want to keep the major plot under wraps until the second books in the series.
And the time! God, I rarely have time to work on it! And I am driving myself insane, knowing I need to work on it.

Sorry For Taking So Long

I swear, I am losing my mind.

Usually, I have time galore to write (too much time) during the summer. But, this summer, I have no time. My cousin, Beebs, is getting married this August. And we’re moving this summer, actually in a month.

So, we’ve been packing. And saying goodbye. And getting ready for my cousin’s wedding.

For years, she’s been the “Bridesmaid, never the Bride” and everyone promised that they’d do things for it, including us.

So when we’re not going to her countless wedding showers, I am either packing up to move or also doing things for the wedding since my cousin seems to have forgotten that we’re moving this summer and keeps asking us to do things!

Anyway, I want to remind my You’ve Got Mail viewers to watch You’ve Got Mail. Because then you will understand why I am being so slow with the story.

With an Ending Comes a New Beginning

Alright, with an ending comes a begining, right?
Well, now that A Last Summer is completed, we are one more step closer to my next story.
The title and actual plot is being kept tightly under wraps, but you can expect to soon be seeing a "New Story" alert in your inbox.

Opening

About three years ago, HAWTgeek sat in her room when her dad came in and asked if she wanted to go to a movie.
She went, and that movie changed her life. That movie was Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
She loved the movie so much that her dad bought her the book series. When she finished the book series, it was unbearable to not have anything to do. She felt so hollow until she finally saw her saying grace. She started to write, and she found that she loved it.
She started a Fanfiction account and started to write a book as well. Now, a year into her account, HAWTgeek has written twenty-stories, inscluding one-shots, and she is ready to give her fans another step forward.
This is her blog, to give news to her readers and show the inside on how their favorite stories are written.
